HOW TO HIRE A FOREIGN MAID IN MALAYSIA?

     Assalamualaikum semua! haha maybe pelik kenapa post pasal maid kan? kat Malayisa harini banyak sangat Pendatang Asing Tanpa Izin (PATI) yang bekerja. So i want to tell all of you how to hire a foreign maid. ye la kot-kot nanti kome dah kaya, senang skit nk carik orang gaji ye dok? Ha, ni hasil dari kajian aku utk subjek Pembangunan Diri semester ni.

Steps involving in hiring a foreign maid in Malaysia..

There are five steps in hiring a foreign maid in Malaysia are select a maid agency, search and select your desired maid, employer attends the Employer Orientation Program, apply work permit for selected maid and documentation and collecting maid.

1st:Select a maid agency to help you
        Maid agency is a company that are in charge of finding maid.You can use website, newspaper and magazine.Provide information about the services you want

2nd:Search and select your required maid.
Select the maid that is match with the criteria that is match with your desire.  The best way to know the maid is by doing an interview with the maid. During the interview ask the entire basic question so that we can know whether she has all the criteria that we want or not. The interview can be done by having an appointment with the maid, via webcam and also by call her.

3rd step: Employer attends the Employer Orientation Program
It is a 4 hours Orientation program. The aim of this programe is to give the employee the knowledge about how to manage and take care of their maid. If the employee does not have this knowledge, it will be hard for him/her to handle and manage their maid

4th step: Apply work permit for selected maid
Work permit is important as it is the proof that the foreign maid come to our country in a legal way. This permit must be applied by the employee himself. This permit includes insurance and the safety bond for the maid. It is also cover the entire package and all the maid personal information is known by the employee.

5th:Documentation and collecting maid

This step is needed to be settled by the maid hiring agency. Maid need to attend the Safety Awareness Course and pass the test designed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). After all the step is done, work permit card will be given and the maid can start their domestic work at the employee house.

Haa gitu je la caranya, x susah pun.. jadi kepada bakal-bakal majikan, bila nak cari orang gaji asing, ikut cara-cara ni.. In Sha Allah semua urusan akan berjalan lancar.. haha..
